About this plant
Create a green boundary with Ficus Nitida, also called Indian laurel. Its glossy evergreen foliage can be trained into a dense privacy hedge or grown as a landscape tree. It is a useful option for a formal screen when you have room for its roots and a regular pruning plan.
Planning your Ficus hedge
- Look: glossy green leaves and dense foliage with appropriate pruning.
- Light: sun to partial shade; site conditions affect growth.
- Care: provide well-drained soil and establishment watering. Adjust irrigation to soil, season and drainage.
- Space: Ficus can become a large tree. Review clearance from foundations, walls, paving and utilities before planting.
Choose smaller containers for a hedge you will grow over time, or compare larger listed sizes for more initial height. Container size does not guarantee an immediate solid screen; spacing and foliage density matter too.

Local delivery in Southern California
Delivery typically takes 2–10 business days after payment, depending on plant availability and route scheduling. We will contact you after purchase to coordinate delivery. Any delivery date specifically agreed for your order will take priority over this general estimate.
Delivery access
Please provide a reachable phone number and clear delivery instructions. Plants can be placed at an agreed accessible curbside, driveway or front-yard location. Backyard delivery is not included. Delivery and installation are separate services; installation requires a separate arrangement and quote.
If your order is delayed
Plant availability, weather and delivery scheduling can affect timing. If we cannot meet the stated delivery timeframe, we will contact you with an updated estimate and explain your option to accept the delay or cancel the unfulfilled order for a refund. We will obtain any consent required for an extended delay. A general website notice does not change a delivery date already promised for your order.
If access prevents delivery, we will contact you about rescheduling. Contact us before ordering if you need plants by a specific date.
